Die Datenanalyse<br \/>wird wesentlich vom Start-Up Tilebox unterst\u00fctzt.<br \/>Der Kleinsatellit ADLER-1 feierte erst k\u00fcrzlich sein einj\u00e4hriges Flug-Jubil\u00e4um. Mit dem vom \u00d6WF<br \/>entwickelten \u201eAustrian Particle Detektor\u201c (APID) und dem On-Board Radar k\u00f6nnen dabei speziell die<br \/>kleinsten Weltraumm\u00fcll-Teilchen detektiert werden, welche nicht mehr per optischer Teleskope<br \/>oder Radar vom Boden aus \u00fcberwacht werden k\u00f6nnen.<br \/>Seit dem Start von ADLER-1 wurden fast zwei Millionen Datens\u00e4tze gesammelt, die laufend<br \/>ausgewertet werden. 100 Impakte konnten bereits identifiziert werden, unter anderem von einem<br \/>extraterrestrischen Objekt. Bei der Suche nach relevanten Impaktdaten unterst\u00fctzt federf\u00fchrend das<br \/>Start-Up Tilebox das \u00d6WF. Tilebox.io wurde vom \u00d6sterreicher Stefan Amberger und der Spanierin<br \/>Laura Costa Ortega gegr\u00fcndet und spezialisiert sich auf Datenverwaltung und parallel<br \/>Verarbeitungspipelines von Satellitendaten.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"549\" height=\"412\" src=\"https:\/\/oewf.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/SAmberger-LOrtega.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21949\" srcset=\"https:\/\/oewf.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/SAmberger-LOrtega.png 549w, https:\/\/oewf.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/SAmberger-LOrtega-300x225.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 549px) 100vw, 549px\" \/><\/figure>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mit diesen in Orbit gesammelten Daten, k\u00f6nnen nun bestehende Computer-Simulationen erg\u00e4nzt<br \/>werden, auf die man sich bislang fast ausschlie\u00dflich verlassen musste. Damit k\u00f6nnen Impakt-Risiken<br \/>von Weltraumm\u00fcll im niedrigen Erdorbit besser kalkuliert werden.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stefan Amberger erl\u00e4utert die Herausforderungen in der Datenauswertung: \u201e<em>Wir haben bei Tilebox<br \/>einen ebenso eleganten wie effizienten Weg zur automatisierten Datenverarbeitung entwickelt \u2013 die<br \/>Messger\u00e4te von ADLER-1 produzieren auch Rauschdaten. Neben einem vom<br \/>\u00d6WF verbesserten APID-2 Instrument wird auch ein Hyper-Angular Rainbow Polarimeter (GAPMAP),<br \/>welches Wolkenwasser und Eispartikel in der Atmosph\u00e4re messen kann, sowie ein verbessertes<br \/>Radar zur Verfolgung von Weltraumm\u00fcll an Board sein.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sobald ADLER-2 im Orbit betriebsbereit ist, wird ADLER-1 planm\u00e4\u00dfig zum Absturz gebracht.
