It is the year of 2015 and the first people that will land on Mars are already born. In order to prepare for this huge step for mankind, the OeWF is currently selecting the next 6 Mars Analog Astronauts who will test spacesuits in Mars like locations. These analog astronauts have to be bright, fit and most of all motivated. Being one of the last 13 is already a great honor. The tests are very versatile. They range from interviews to very fun parts like driving a rover or testing a 32 kg exoskeleton like construction and running up and down stairs. Everybody is sharing their sweat, experiences, and laughs. From all these great people it will probably be the greatest challenge for the OeWF team to choose the final 6 analog astronauts.
