You might be asking what this musical competition has in common with Mars research. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each song contest participant was invited in advance to visit a particular, special place in Austria. At this location, a short intro video was filmed, also known as a \u201cpostcard\u201d video. The Swedish participant M\u00e5ns Zelmerl\u00f6w received\u00a0 a ticket to \u201eMars\u201c as\u00a0his postcard&#8230; and this is\u00a0how Mars research entered into the events surrounding the Eurovision Song Contest.
