My name is Nora, I’m originally from Munich and have been living in Innsbruck for five years now. After completing my bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Innsbruck, I am now in the middle of my master’s thesis in psychology. I have also completed an extension course in computer science. I became aware of the Austrian Space Forum (OeWF) through two friends who have already done an internship there or work there. One of my friends had the idea of conducting a member survey for the OeWF. As I was already looking for an internship in Human Resources, I found this suggestion very interesting and decided to apply. A short time later, I started my internship at Human Resources of the Austrian Space Forum and was able to put her idea into practice.

My main task was to conduct a member survey. In consultation with the Board of Directors, I drew up a questionnaire, carried out the data collection and am currently in the process of analyzing the results. I was able to carry out the project planning independently. The challenge of managing the entire process from conception to evaluation gave me valuable insights into practical work in the field of human resources and project coordination.

The start of my internship was also very exciting: I was able to travel to Vienna to take part in the AMADEE-24 mission. This opportunity was very valuable for my project, as I was able to observe the OeWF members at work. It really helped me to get a feel for the dynamics and culture within the OeWF. The direct exchange with the team members on site allowed me to gain deeper insights into the working methods and the various aspects of the mission. I found it particularly exciting to see how diverse the backgrounds and interests of those involved are. I was also able to get to know the other interns in Vienna, which made it easier to get started and created a great team atmosphere.
